This fits neatly inside a standard jewel case without buckling or overlapping the locking tabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are designing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chilliprinting.com\/folded-cd-inserts-and-brochures\/\">booklet-style insert with multiple folded panels<\/a>, each panel should maintain that same <strong>4.75-inch height<\/strong>, with the width scaling in multiples depending on how many panels you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your print-ready file, however, should be larger than the finished size.<\/strong> You need to include a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chilliprinting.com\/online-printing-blog\/bleed-in-printing\/\">bleed of at least 0.125 inches<\/a> on all sides where the design runs to the edge. Four-panel and eight-panel configurations follow the same logic, <strong>doubling the width<\/strong> with each additional fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep in mind that a booklet printed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chilliprinting.com\/online-printing-blog\/paper-types-guide\/\">heavier paper stock<\/a> may not fold as cleanly as one printed on a lighter weight.
