Can I order a custom size?
Yes, of course! To order a custom poster size, please choose the size that is closest to the size you would like, but larger. Once you are in your shopping cart, add the option, “Trimming To Custom Format”, to your order. Please note, there is an additional flat fee of $15 for this service, regardless of the ordered quantity.
What type of files do you accept for Posters?
For custom posters, we can accept jpeg, tiff or pdf files. Open file formats, like psd or ai files, are not accepted at this time.
What size are movie posters?
The official movie poster size is 27” x 40”. This is the industry standard format to fit in showcase boxes of movie theaters.
What resolution is best for printing posters?
For any type of professional printing, we recommend a resolution of 300dpi. However, especially for large format printing, the files can have a quite huge amount of MB with this resolution. Since they are typically not viewed at a close distance, lowering the resolution to a minimum of 150dpi for large format prints is possible.
What is the standard poster size?
We are proud to offer all poster sizes. However, the most common poster sizes are 11” x 17” (small), 18” x 24” (medium) or 24” x 36” (large). The standard movie poster size is 27” x 40”. Please note we also offer 32”x 48” (extra large), or 39” x 55” (XXL) poster sizes.
