Bleed Format
Please ensure your file has the following dimensions:24.20'' x 36.20''
After printing we will trim off a 0.10'' bleed on each side. Any background elements or color should reach into this bleed area and last till the very edge of the file. Text and other important graphic elements should keep a safety distance to the inside.Trim Format (Final Product Format)

File Dimensions

Bleed 0.1'' (1/10'')
This margin is essential to compensate trimming tolerances. The bleed will usually be trimmed off completely. Please ensure that background images and any bleed objects, which are supposed to reach to the edge of your page, extend into this margin to avoid thin white edges after trimming.Safety Area 0.08'' (1/12'')
Additionally, please ensure that text and other important graphic elements are positioned at least 0.08'' away from the bleed to the inside. In most cases it doesn't look aesthetically if text stucks too closed to the edge.Resolution
We print with a 177lpi screen, which provides a resolution of 354 dpi. In order to obtain best results, your file should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Files for large formats, like for instance posters, may go below this threshold, however, in no case your resolution should be less than 150 dpi.Color settings
CMYK is the standard color mode for full color offset printing. Thus, please use the CMYK color mode when creating your file. If, however, we receive files with any different color setting, our system will automatically convert them to CMYK. This may result in slight color deviations which will not be accepted as complaints since we cannot know the original color you had in mind. To avoid color issues, please use our color profile available further down this page.Inking
The total of the percent values of the four color channels Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black must not exceed 300%. If it does, it will cause an above-average ink application and may not dry properly. As a consequence your printed products may stick together and tear on separation.For black or gray color please only use the K channel (K = key = black). If your fonts are using three or more color channels, shadows may appear on the prints making the text difficult to read.
To obtain a deep saturated black of strokes and fillings, 40% Cyan and 100% Black are adequate (40/0/0/100). Alternatively you may also use the values 30/30/30/100.
Fonts
For offset printing, please always use Postscript fonts. In rare cases TrueType fonts may cause issues with many professional printing workflows. If TrueType fonts are unavoidable they should be converted to outlines, paths or curves (this function may have different names according to the used software).File Formats
We prefer multipage PDF files, alternatively you may send us EPS, JPEG or TIFF files. Adobe Photoshop users should always save their files as JPEG or TIFF. If a Photoshop PDF is required, please use Acrobat Distiller to create the PDF (you may download our Acrobat JobOptions further down this page). Please never save a PDF directly from Photoshop.Page Order

Standard Poster Sizes
11" x 17" / 13" x 19" - Small Size
These two sizes for small or mini posters are ideal for communicating internal events or information on a bulletin board. Enough space to organize text and photos and be seen from a short distance.
24" x 36" - Large Size
Perfect for grabbing attention from a distance, for instance at an exhibit, convention or at concerts, trade shows and mass events in general. The amount of space is a great canvas for displaying a very visual and detailed high-quality design.
18" x 24" - Medium Size
This standard poster size is perfect for outdoor and indoor display. Choose the double-sided option for announcements placed in a window which can be seen from both sides.
27" x 40" - Movie Poster or One-Sheet Size
Official size for posters distributed to theaters and cinemas for movie announcements since it fits exactly into their light boxes.
32" x 48" / 39" x 55" - Extra Large
These giant poster sizes are a unique and winning option in print marketing. Ideal for outdoor and indoor display of a massive campaign, making a powerful impact from afar. Additionally, it is a great option for exhibiting works of art.
Custom Laminated Posters
This option is always a yes! Print laminated posters to increase the durability, help to prevent rips, and protect from damages caused by water, humidity, dust, and finger marks. It is also easy to wipe clean and can be used as a dry erase board.
Laminate posters in matte (example see top right on the image) to provide a satin look and let your designs appear elegant and understated. Complemented with this special film your posters will look absolutely stunning.
Alternatively, if your intention is to highlight a detailed design or make the colors shine bright, use a glossy lamination to bring out all the details of your artwork (example on the left bottom of the image).
Folded Posters
You need to go big to impact your audience, but if your packaging is small you may opt for folding your posters.
Available from the smallest to the largest format and for single sided prints as well as for posters printed on the front and back.
Half fold, tri fold or even down to pocket size with a map fold, it's perfect for instruction manuals, take-away catalogs, menus or simply when mailing posters.

How many pixels is a poster?
Even if you know your poster size, and are ready to print posters, you may wonder about the pixels. The pixels will depend on the resolution of your file. The formula is: inches x resolution = pixels. For example, for an 18 inch poster size, with 300 dpi, the pixels will be equal to 5,400 px. (18”x 300 dpi = 5,400 px).
Which material and coating is ideal for posters displayed outdoors?
Bulk poster printing for outdoor posters is a very popular option. The only paper option that is suitable for outdoor use is our 90 lb. text stock BlueBack paper. This paper will allow your poster to look better, last longer and will prevent show-through.
Can I order custom size posters?
Of course! To order a custom poster size, please choose the size that is closest to the size you would like, but one size larger. Once you are in your shopping cart, add the option, “Trimming To Custom Format”, to your order. Please note, there is an additional flat fee of $15 for this service.
