Bleed refers to the design elements that extend +1/10" past the final trim border. Trimming large sheets on high-speed industrial cutters can experience slight mechanical shifts; including a bleed ensures that no white, unprinted paper borders show along the finished edges of your poster.

For outdoor displays, the best material choice is our 90 lb. BlueBack text stock, which is uniquely treated to prevent weather warping and features an opaque blue backing to block old posters from showing through underneath.
